Wanna know what I’ve been doing to shake off that funk? Literally, deciding to shake it off. I turn on a song, turn the volume full blast, and dance my booty off.
The times when I’m taking life just a little too seriously and it’s making me feel stuck, dancing has been my go-to to shake off that too serious self and tap into my joyful self.
Many people I work with tell me they’re doing all the “right” things: getting sleep, trying to eat well, taking care of responsibilities… yet they still feel depleted.
Often what’s missing isn’t effort, it’s simpler than that.
