Spring Citrus Elixir

As the seasons shift into spring and early summer, the body naturally begins to crave lighter foods and more hydration. This elixir is a great way to hydrate while also supporting digestion, electrolyte balance, and gentle detoxification.

With sparkling mineral water, fresh lime, a touch of honey, and a pinch of sea salt, this drink helps replenish what the body loses through warmer days — while mint adds a cooling, uplifting finish. It’s crisp, slightly sweet, a little tangy, and incredibly satisfying.

Think of it as a natural electrolyte drink — one that tastes good and leaves you feeling even better.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sparkling mineral water

  • Juice of ½ lime

  • 1–2 tsp raw honey (adjust to taste)

  • Small pinch sea salt

  • A few leaves fresh mint, gently torn

Directions

  • In a glass, add the lime juice, honey, and sea salt. Stir until the honey begins to dissolve.

  • Pour in the sparkling mineral water and stir gently.

  • Add the fresh mint, lightly pressing it between your fingers to release its aroma.

  • Taste and adjust — more lime for brightness, more honey for sweetness, or a tiny pinch more salt if needed.

And Enjoy

  • Sip slowly and enjoy cool, but not cold. It’s nice to notice all the flavors and appreciate how your body responds to the elixir. This is always a fun one to bring with me on a hike for a little bevi on the red rocks.
